Richard MCGUIRE was born on 12 Dec 1771 in Fredricks Co , MD.[1] He died on 13 Jan 1855 in Loretto, Allegheny Twp., Cambria Co., PA.[2],[3] July 14, 1785 Richard McGuire warrants land on Clearfield Creek, BedfordCo., PA (Bedford Co., PA warrants P 18 pg. 308 warrant #222) Survey onthis land returned December 23, 1791 showing Luke McGuire and JohnRoberts as adjoining owners. (PA land records, copied surveys C116 pg.242) A second survey returned September 5, 1793 showed adjoining ownersas Michael McGuire, Dr. Brownson, and Andrew McFarland. (PA land records,copied surveys A16 pg. 101)

Richard MCGUIRE and Eleanor BYRNE were married on 15 May 1800 in Loretto, Cambria Co., PA.[4] Eleanor BYRNE (daughter of JOHN BYRNE and ANN UNKNOWN BYRNE) was born in 1782 in Ireland.[5],[6] She died on 5 Aug 1855 in Loretto, Allegheny Twp., Cambria Co., PA.[7] 1857 June 16 Eleanor McGuire, widow of Richard McGuire; bounty landwarrant 120a; ch. Catherine Bradley and Rachel Adams. letter of admingiven 1/25/1869. [Cambria Co., PA estates #1710] Richard MCGUIRE and Eleanor BYRNE had the following children:

+3 ii. Rachel Brigett MCGUIRE (born in Sep 1803).

4 iii. Agnes MCGUIRE was born on 3 Oct 1805 in Loretto, Allegheny Twp., Cambria Co., PA.[8],[9] She died on 20 Mar 1806 in Loretto, Allegheny Twp., Cambria Co., PA.[10]
