In 1864 I found Drafts published on August 3rd and September 21. If a man
had paid the commutation of $300.00, he had to present his certificate of
payment to the Board at Hollidaysburg on the day they are notified to
appear. Mathias Shortenkerchner is listed in the August 3rd Draft.
