The Blair County Genealogical Society has a book that was published in the 1800s that lists all the Soldier's Children's Schools in Pennsylvania, with pictures, locations, and descriptions. Each school lists all its students. The only one still in existance [abit under a different form] in the one whose name I cannot remember at McConnelsburg. Another one was the prep school of ST. Vincent College for students who were doing advanced work.
