According to the obituary listing on George Warholic's page for Backlick Township,

there was an obituary for George E. McMullen, Sr. published on 2-16-1979 in the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat. It might provide some other information and you should be able to get a copy from the Cambria County libarary.

I also have note from another researcher who says his name is George
Edward McMullen.
