The obituary index for the Johnstown Tribune-Democrat shows an obituary for Elmer J. Bradley being published on 8 October 1973, which fits with your information below. (There's also one for another Elmer J. Bradley published on 30 April 1966.) In addition, there is an obituary for a Bernadine Bradley published on 16 October 1979, but I don't know if that's the Bernadine that you are looking for.

St. Michael's Cemetery lists Elmer to be husband of Bernadine - but this is
