Dear Batha,
Not this year, you wouldn't know about snow. The first snow that laid was December 14, and only up in the mountains. I went to State College that day to fly to London to see my daughter.
When I got back, it seems that there were a few days of very cold weather in December, but no snow.
January has been in the forties and fifties. Today it is sixty-one degrees. We had a horrific ice storm last week that put out the power, especially in the north of the county and Clearfield and Centre County, for at least two days, and a week for some. It is the first time I have know shelters to open in this area for a storm. The new hospital in Hasting was out of power and used generators till they could transfer patients. We had a touch of snow, but nothing laid.
The total snow fall is minimal, must be less than ten inches.
Marilyn
