I have recently subscribed to the list and did a search at this site:

Found ten listings for the GEER surname in Cambria Co. This surname was the
maiden name of my 2nd greatgrandmother. Mary GEER (according to the records at
the Allegheny Cemetery, near Pittsburgh) was born in 1810, possibly
Cumberland Co. PA. She died in 1885, Northside, Allegheny Co. She married James
CARSON 18 Dec 1828, at the Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Pittsburgh.

If anyone has GEER ancestry I would like to hear from you, and hopefully make
a connection. I have no information on her parents or siblings, so anything
helpful will be most appreciated.
