LONG - Mrs Mary Elizabeth, 79, New Florence died Nov. 21, 1977 at Lee Hospital.
Born June 15, 1898 in Lockport, daughter of Washington and Margaret
(Mundorf )Wambaugh.
Preceded in death by parents; husbands Joseph McElwee, and Alex Long;
sister, Deane Wambaugh and son Washington Louis McElwee. Survived by these
children: Glen McElwee Youngstown, Ohio, Alfred Eugene Long, New Florence,
Margaret Thompson, Youngstown; Dorothy Colson, Seward; Dean Burkholder,
Youngstown; Betty McDowell, Pampa, Tex and Alexander Long Florida; also 18
grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Sister of Goldie James, Bolivar;
Cora Rhodes, Ligonier and Susan Bernabo Pittsburgh. Member of New Florence
Senior Citizens.
Friends received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kenneth N. Gray
Funeral Home. Seward; where service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

MACK - Kenneth L., 61, 839 Allyn St., Akron, Ohio formerly of Seward, died May 17, 1979, at Mercy Hospital.
Born Jan. 7, 1918 in Seward, son of late Thomas and Laura (Penrose) Mack.
Survived by widow, former Norma Jean Garland, and these daughters; Linda, wife of Marlin McGinnis, Bolivar RD 1; Shirley, wife of Harold Heming, New Florence RD 1; Stella, wife of Donald Marsh. Bolivar; Freda, wife of Kenneth Gindlesperger, Robinson; and Nancy wife of Ralph Turner, Johnstown; also 15 grandchildren.
Brother of Mrs. Mary Dailey, Cuyahoga, Ohio,
Mrs Bertha McGinty, California;
and John, Johnstown.
Owner of Scotty's Cafe and an income tax service, both in Akron.

MACK - Norma Jean, 63, 671 Washington St., Bolivar, died May 3, 1992 at home. Born Feb. 15, 1929, in Fairfield Twp., daughter of late George and Elsie (James) Garland; also preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Mack, and brothers, Paul, Kenneth, Russell and Arthur Garland.
Survived by daughter, Linda, wife of Marlin McGinnis, Bolivar RD 1, also four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Sister of Edna Forsythe, Mars, Pa., Irene Shetler, Bolivar RD 1 and Betty Bush, Robinson; also survived by close friend, Jack Lynch, Bolivar.
Member of First Church of Christ, West Bolivar, and Laurel Valley Senior Citizens, where she was formerly employed by the Green Thumb of Westmoreland County.
Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, New Florence, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Richard E. Lear. Interment, Germany Lutheran Cemetery

Florence M. (Short) McMahon 64 of 140 Mills St. Extension, Tarentum died Saturday (June 27, 1992) at 1:20 a.m. in Highland Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Brackenridge where she was admitted May 13. She had been ill the past four years.
Born April 30, 1928, in Bolivar she lived in Tarentum the past 43 years.
She was a member of Frist Christian Church, Tarentum.
Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Grant F. McMahon ; four sons, Patrick A. McMahon at home, William P. McMahon of Hastings, Donald R. McMahon of Centralia, MO. and Ronald K. McMahon of Elmora; four daughters, Mrs. James (Joanne) Prasko of Hastings, Mrs. Larry (Barbara J.) Lorensen of Mexico, MO., Mary Lou Pringle of Meadville, and Judy McMahon at home. 13 grandchildren; and two sisters, June Nixon of Robinson and Margaret Henderson of Bolivar.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip A. and Hazel I. (Eales) Short; two brothers, Joseph T. and Harry W. Short and two sisters Rebecca S. Howard and Olive I. Short.
A private family visitation only will be held Monday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Albert H. Duster & Sons Funeral Home, Tenth Ave. at Corbet St., Tarentum, where private family services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Officating will be her pastor the Rev. Edward Cadwallader. Private burial will be in Fort Palmer Cemetery, Fairfield Township.

Grant F. McMahon 75 of Mill Street Extension, Tarentum died at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday (March 3, 1999) in Haida Nursing Home, Elder Township. He had been ill the past five years.
Born June 22, 1923 in Bolivar, he lived in Tarentum most of his life.
Mr. McMahon was a World War II Army veteran.
He was an employee of Tarentum Borough for 40 years before his retirement in 1985.
Mr. McMahon was a member of the Slovak Club in Barnesboro.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include four sons, Patrick A. McMahon of Barnsboro,
William P. McMahon of Portage, Donald R. McMahon of Centralia, MO. and Ronald K. McMahon of Marsteller; four daughters Mrs. James (Joanne) Prasko of Hastings, Mrs. Larry (Barbara J) Lorensen of Mexico , MO, Mary Lou Pringle of Meadville, and Judith Lea McMahon, at home; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Mr. McMahon was preceded in death by his wife Florence M. (Short) McMahon in 1992 and his parents, William P. (Peter William) and Maude Ann( James) McMahon.
Relatives and Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday in the DUSTER FUNERAL HOME INC. 10th Ave. at Corbet street, Tarentum where funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday. Private burial will be in Fort Palmer Cemetery, Fairfield township.

Bolivar Native Fatally Injured in Road Crash
A native of Bolivar died Saturday of injuries received in a traffic accident in Kittanning. The dead woman is Mrs. Maude A. McMahon 45, wife of William (Peter William) McMahon, Natrona. The mishap occurred last Thursday at 8:30 p.m. when the light auto in which Mrs. McMahon was a passenger was struck by a heavy truck. Her husband was injured in the crash.
Mrs. McMahon was born in Bolivar, Aug 20, 1905 a daughter of Lewis G. James and the late Mrs. James. She had lived in the Natrona area for the past 22 years.

Natrona Pair In Crash; Wife Critically Hurt
A Natrona woman injured with her husband when their light car was demolished by a semi-trailer truck at the interection of Highways 28 and 422 west of Kittanning Thursday, today was in critical condition in Armstrong County General Hospital.
Mrs. William P. (Peter William) McMahon of River avenue Natrona was still unconscious with critical injuries received in the accident. Her husband, driver of their British built Hillman car, was discharged from the hospital after he was a patient there for a day.
The couple was returning from Brookville, where they went for a drive to see the autumn color in the Cook Forest area on Mr. McMahon's day off from work in Brackenridge plant of Allegheny Ludlum Steel Corp.
The McMahon's were making a left turn into Highway 422 when their car was hit by an approaching fuel truck, driven by Charles W. Smith 24 of Kutztown, PA.
Mrs McMahon this morning was reported still unconscious. She is known to have a fractured nose, dislocated wrist and severe cuts of the eye, forehead, arms and legs. Her condition thus far has not yet permitted x-Ray examination.
Mr McMahon who is now at the home of his only son Grant in West Seventh avenue Tarentum received three fractured ribs and cuts on his face, elbows and legs.
Their small sedan was completely demolished by the impact with the semi-trailer type truck.
