About the Ancestry Vs Genealogy.com discussion. Ancestry is far superior.
Yes, the LDS and a lot of public libraries have Ancestry Plus for free and if
you have the time to wait then that is the best way to go; unless you just
really like the convenience. I research genealogy for the purposes of my own
family histories and for signed and unsigned historical textiles for museums
several hours a day. Additionally, I like to be able to offer a Random Act
of Genealogical Kindness at least once a day and for that reason you would
have to pry my Ancestry subscription from my cold, dead hands. Of course, at
that point, I guess the point would be moot.
