Services for Carolyn A. Rock (Ivory), age 75, will be 11 a.m. today at St.
Mary's Church, 15519 Holmes Ave., Collinwood.


Mrs. Rock died July 29, 2000, at Euclid Hospital in Euclid.
Born Oct. 5, 1924, in Loretto Pa., she had lived in Cleveland for the past
45 years.
Mrs. Rock worked at the former Woolworh's at 5 points in Collinwood for 29
years.
She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Collinwood. She was also a member
of the Ward 11 Democratic Club in Cleveland. She loved taking care of her
plants.
Survivors are her daughter, Barbara (Dennis) Marek of Sedona, Ariz.; two
granddaughters, Jennifer (Christian) Barr of Chardon and Nicole (Robert)
Blum of Willoughby; grandson, Michael Walsh of Mentor; great-grandson;
Nathan Riley Blum; five sisters, Lucinda (Robert) Soisson of Cresson, Pa.,
Jane Kennedy of Hastings, Mich., Eileen (Robert) Criste of Lynchburg, Va.,
Pauline (John) Parrish of Indian Trail, N.C., and Elaine (Peter) Cossentino
of Italy; two brothers, Harold (Arlene) Ivory of Madison and Ronald (Judy)
Ivory of Mentor.
Preceded in death by, first husband, W.F. McClellan; second husband, Joseph
Rock; three sisters, Louise Lawn, Gertrude Rosensteel and Hilda Weber; and
brother, James Ivory.
Visitation was Tuesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service in
Mentor.
The family suggests contributions to the Holy Family Home, 6707 State Rd.,
Cleveland 44134.
