A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you?

If the words sound queer and funny to your ear, a little bit jumbled and
jivey
Sing "Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy"

Oh! Mairzy doats and dozy doats and liddle lamzy divey
A kiddley divey too, wouldn't you-oo?

Subject: [PACAMBRI] anyone remember this song?

My grandmother was born and lived in Cambria County
for most of her life. As a small child i remember her
singing a silly song to us. I do not know the name of
the song and can not remember most of the words and
was hoping soneone out there heard it to. Maybe just a
local thing since no one else but my cousins even
heard of it now. It went something like this (and
forgive any spelling errors)

Maresie doats and posey goats and little lambsie
divey, a kidledivie too, wouldn't you? If the words
sound queer and funny to your ear, a little bit
jumbled and jivy.

that is all I can remember of it. ANYONE out there
hear this song as a child, too? or was it just
something in my family?????
