Another interesting birth story.? My Dad was born in 1927 to a single mother.? He was registered.? Two years later when his mother wanted to marry, she gave him to her mother to raise.? His grandmother then called the state-or whoever- and said she'd had a baby two years ago that she never registered.? Of course, they sent her a certificate with her and her husband's names as birth parents!? Dad never knew his birth name or his?father's name until I got a copy of the first one.? Pennsylvania has marked in their records that the two registrations are the same person, for future reference.? Crazy, huh?
