James “Buck” Strittmatter

STRITTMATTER – James “Buck,” 69, Hollidaysburg Veterans Home, formerly of
St. Boniface, died Dec. 6, 2007, at Altoona Hospital. Born June 17, 1938, in
Elder Township, son of the late Wilfred and Agnes (Thomas) Strittmatter.
Preceded in death by brothers, Regis, Paul and Anthony, and sisters, Anna
Catherine and twin sister, Virginia. Brother of Thomas, Circleville, Ohio;
Dolores Westrick and Bernadette Hadden, both of St. Boniface; and Agnes
Short, Somerset. A U.S. Army veteran. Friends received from 1 until 4 p.m.
Sunday at Easly Funeral Home, Hastings. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m.
Monday at St. Boniface Chapel, St. Boniface, Father Andre Strittmatter, TOR.
Interment, church cemetery. Veterans rites by Hastings VFW.
