That's a good question. Right now I will look on my census sheets to see if
I can identify it by post office. Doesn't that sound reasonable?
Now I know that Driftwood is in Gibson Twp. Let me dig through the others.
Sterling Run is in Lumber Twp. and Sinnemahoning is in Grove Twp. Now we
BOTH know.
You can check the census index for 1870 at Rootsweb.com and go to the Census
archives. Look for PA and then finally look for Grove Twp. If the person
was there in 18870, the name will be listed alphabetically.
And I see you got another offer from someone else. They will appreciate
knowing the twp. also, so if you don't find these people in the 1870 census.,
let the other gal know the township so she can look in the 1880 census.
