Hello folks.

While going through my Grandmother's (Mrs. Harry [Jayne] Housler) "archives"
(read many shoe boxes) I found a little nugget some may be interested in ...
a couple of pictures of the EHS class of 1929 from the Cameron County Echo.

One is a copy of the class picture from 1929. The other includes all the
attendees of their 40th reunion in 1969.

If anyone is interested in copies of these photos I can try to scan them in
as soon as I hook it up (I just moved). If you'd like me to do a lookup to
make sure your relative is in the picture, I can do that too.

My family tells me my Grandfather Harry was the class Valedictorian, but I
can't verify that. It would be kinda cool, as I was my class Valedictorian
60 years later.

I'd also like to ask a question:

My family tells me of a Moose Lodge somewhere in Emporium that has been
around for some time. My father, told me that at the Lodge was a picture of
my Great Grandfather, Garnell Lysle Housler with General John J. "BlackJack"
Pershing on a hunting trip. The gun that Garnell Lysle held in the picture
is still owned by my Dad. Can anyone confirm or deny this? If this picture
exists, does anyone know if it would be possible to scan it so my family may
add it to our collection?

Thanks and best regards,

Mark E Housler
