For those of you in the area....I spent some time today at the Potter County
Historical Society in Coudersport. They have an excellent research library.
It is not just focused on Potter County. They have Pennsylvania Census
index books for all years up to 1880 I believe and many PA county histories.
They also had quite a bit of New England Genealogy and southern tier NY
genealogy. They also had Potter County newspapers back to the early 1900's
which may contain Cameron County news.

So if you are researching any of those areas, they are worth checking out.
They seem to be open most days. There were three very nice, eager to help
volunteers there and a very nice museum throughout the building.
