Subject: [PA-CAMERON] June Club Meeting Notes

We had a great turn out for our June meeting. Twenty-two people arrived at
the Little Museum in Sterling Run and spent a good two hours pouring over
the contents of the museum. We had 4 out of town visitors - two from
Lewistown, one from Renovo and one from St. Marys, plus Club member Diane
DeShong from Punxsutawney.

Historical Society Board Member, Sandra Hornung, was our guide. We were
grateful that she volunteered her time to be there for us.

I think everyone had a great time and some found some family information. I
would be nice to hear from those of you who found things of interest.

In addition to the dollar per person donation to tour the museum, the Club
presented Sandra with a money order for $50. Several people also became
members of the Historical Society. We took a group photo which will be
online soon and in next weeks newspapers.

We will have to do that again some time. Two hours is not enough time to
see everything that is on display!

Our next meeting will be on Saturday July 12th at the Library...We moved it
up a week because of the 4th of July Weekend. I have posted the new webpage
for the Club, but it is under construction for a while as I get it all
organized.
