There are no obits back that far. If he was a prominate person in the county his death may have been mentioned in the paper, but other than that there would have been no mention.

Hi Don, Would you look for my great grandmothers death maybe around 1879
perhaps in child birth? Her name was Susan Evelyn Rockwell Page, However
they may have just called her Eva Page. At least that`s what is listed on
my Grandfather, George Le Roy Page`s death certificate 1937. Hes her son.
Hes buried in our family plot in Cameron, Pa. I`m trying to find out if
shes buried there, too. Its a brick wall for me. Jeannine Kennedy
