When I was a kid, we had a camp on the Logue Farm up First Fork. I believe 3 of the brothers lived there at one time. There were several log cabins and a two story house over there that we tore down. I kick my self today for not taking photos before we tore them down. Some religous group lived there in the 50's and it looked like they just up and left as there were clothes in the closets with money in the pocekts and food on the shelves.
We used to visit the Hurley sisters...there were three of them at the time still living. They used to play the pump organ for us kids. My Dad tried to buy the property, but there were too many people involved to sign off on it. Then we moved away.
I remember that boat rotting along creek! From what I remember, they sold vegetables and would ferry people across the creek in that boat to get them.
