Hi, We are currently working on a book on Sterling Run in Lumber Township.
Most recordings of cemeteries only have the tombstone readings. We are
trying to include those who do not have tombstones. Other sources so far
have been funeral director's records of the area and from obits that we
have collected on people who lived in the area. The best resource for
including those who do not have tombstones is from family members. We are
asking that anyone who has family buried in any cemetery in Lumber or Gibson
Township please let us know so we can make sure they are recorded. We have
included parts of Gibson township in the book because many of the families
of the area moved or worked back and forth between the two townships. By
cross referencing all the resources we hope to include many burials that are
lost to the researcher in these areas. Dianne DeShong
