Ed
Within the last month or so there were items in the Times News
(newspaper) concerning the status of volume 5 of the series. I believe the
volume is to be released in late winter or early spring of this year.
However, release dates have been delayed in the past. I don't think there
was much mention of the status of volume 6, however. The first 4 volumes
were also released long past the original proposed release date. Hopefully,
the volumes will be coming out soon.

Jack

> Does anyone know the status of Volumes 5 and 6 of the Carbon County
History series by Thomas D. Eckhart? I have volumes 1 thru 4 and have
pre-paid for volumes 5 and 6. The last correspondence that I've had from
Mr. Eckhart in November of 2001 stated that both volumes would be available
in the spring of 2002. I've heard nothing since then and the telephone
number (1-877-313-1843) is no longer in service. Anyone?
