I didn't find the son John W. in 1930
This may be him in 1910: May 7
Name: John W Parkerson
Birthplace: England parents born in England/English, immigrated 1870, naturalized
State: PA
Age: 47
Color: W
Enumeration District: 0002
District 2 Banks township (part of), excluding Beaver Meadow borough Leviston, district and Park View district
Visit: 0489
County: Carbon
Relation: Head of Household engineer for breaker,
Other Residents: Relation Name Age Birth Place
Wife Martha 43 Pennsylvania married 24 years, 6 births, 5 living, parents born in Germany/German
Daughter Elizabeth 19 Pennsylvania single
Daughter Katie 16 Pennsylvania, warper at silk mill, single
Son Willie 14 Pennsylvania, collector for laundry
Daughter Mary E Schmear 21 Pennsylvania married 1 year, 1 birth, 1 living,

if this is him, it explains why he's not in 1870 census, because that's the year he immigrated

Hi, I am looking for any information about the family of John and Mary
Parkinson. They were born in England in 1834 and came to US around
1868. For a time they lived in Hazleton and Stockton. Their son John
William Parkinson born England 1863 was listed on 1920 census for
Leviston Village in Carbon Co. I can not find any other information on
this family. I really would like to know when and where the older
Parkinsons died. And what happened to John and family?

Thank you,
Joan
