Yes, thanks, Roy, I did see your posting. I also had seen the website. Don
Pace had sent me parts of the story of Darius before he posted it. I was
incredibly lucky to have found my way to Don and the Nova Scotia site on the
very first day that I starting looking into my family history.

I went to Nova Scotia a number of years ago and poked around Ecum Secum and
the Pace settlement a bit. I was a tad shy about knocking on doors then, and
didn't make contact with any Paces. My late great aunt, Rheta Macdonald
Howland, had been in touch with some of her cousins in the vicinity of Ecum
Secum, NS, and Don has copies of some of that correspondence.
