Willis is the oldest of my ancestors that I have been able to find - The
following is taken from Lawrence Co, Tn census of 1850 and Hickman Co, Tn
census of 1860.
Willis b. 1806 or 1809 - my gg grandfather - died Hickman Co about 1868
Nancy b. 1807 - my gg grandmother
Mary J. b. 1833
Samuel M. b. 1834
Pleasant Green b. 1837 - d. 1899 - my g grandfather - buried near homeplace
in Hickman Co - Served in Civil War - Fought at Shiloh along with his bro
Wilson
Eliza b. 1838
Wilson C. b. 1842, killed in battle of Shiloh Apr 6, 1862
John M. b. 1845
William A. born 1847
Margarett D. b. 1851
One census shows his willis b. as 1806 and one as 1809 - I bel. he was born
in 1806. Also that he was born in Tn - His wife Nancy as being born in NC.
--Would appreciate ANY info you might have on this line - Most especially the
