I have that book if anyone wants a look up. Matter of fact, I contributed.
Mr. Casey bless him, follows the footsteps of Noble Pace - its voluntary
offering and not necessarily "sourced".

I have Bruce Howard's book and this family isn't in my direct line. I am
forwarding this message. Please do not write to NLynn669232--she merely
forwarded this to me. If you are interested, send a message to Marie
Maxson (). To tell you the truth, I am not sure who Nancy
Lynn is either but I belong to a lot of mailing lists and I probably ran
into her in researching one of my other lines.

You have been so nice to help others interested in genealogy. I just
wanted
to be sure that you saw the note below from Somebody's Links, Vol. 4, No.
2.
I know nothing more about this. For further information please contact

o While dusting shelves in a secondhand store, where I work,

I came across a wonderful book (copyright 1988) by Harold and

Robert Casey, that covers the names SHELTON, WININGER, and PACE

It covers the dates 1780 to the 1970s. The primary name is John

SHELTON, born circa 1780-1790, however there were numerous among

the three families thus there is also much information on the

other two families. The book is 863 pages and filled with

excerpts of family bibles, photos, letters and family history.

The family started out in Virginia and eventually migrates to

Texas. There are references to other states along the way. It

is a treasure of information for anyone researching this family.

I would be happy to send it to a family member for the cost of

postage.
