Subject: [PACE-L] Deed - Mrs. Sarah Pace to John Stroop- Rutherford TN
Date: Thu, 4 Apr 2002 01:37:45 EST
Earlier, a reference was found for a Rutherford co, TN deed where a John and
Sarah Pace sold to Alfred Phillips, husband of Ann Pace, 62 acres of land, on
January 4, 1845. (Pace Society of America, PACE BULLETIN # 26 (December
1973).) I became curious about this deed and so I ordered some of the
Rutherford co, TN Deed books on microfilm.
Of course I did not have this reference or references to other Pace deeds
with me last night when the microfilms were unpacked from the mailing boxes
by the Family History Center director. So the deed below is the Pace deed I
found while browsing the microfilm.
I will post the Pace deeds as I locate and abstract them. I tried to keep
the spelling as it appeared in the document. I believe this is Sarah
(Anderson) Pace, widow of John Pace. I included the description of the land
for those that want to plat out the land and learn of the neighbors, the
water course, and other details.
