Source for this info is copy of "Abstracts from Wills, Land Grants, Deeds,
War Records, and Census Records of the Southern States" compiled by Cleo
Evans of Fairfax VA. My copy is dated Nov 1964 as a gift to the LDS Library
in Salt Lake City.
I will focus in this posting on John Pace and Sarah Anderson Pace. Hope
some of this helps. I do not have the originals to any of this so I am
unable to verify accuracy or if each represents the contents of each
document.

1) Rutherford County, Tennessee Court Minutes 1814-1815 Book H, page 135
& 143 (no date noted)
pg. 135: It appearing to the court here that John Pace is dead and Sarah
Pace having applied for letters of administration on said estate and she
having qualified as the law directs, and having D. McBrom her securities, to
her are granted.
pg. 143: It appearing to the court that Sarah Pace administratix of John
Pace des'd have leave to sell the perishable property of the estate.
2) Rutherford County Wills, Inv., Settlements Vol 3 1814 1816, page 105
4 May 1815. Inventory of the personal estate of John Pace, dec'd returned
to Oct. 1815 Signed Sarah Pace, Adm.
3) Rutherford Co, Tennessee Tax Lists for 1809, 1810, 1811, 1812, & 1813 do
not show John Pace per abstract. Other Paces are listed
4) John Pace, Private 2nd Regiment Mounted Gunmen(Williamson's) Tennessee
Volunteers, enlisted 28 Sept 1814 to 9 Jan 1815. Term of service 3 months,
15 days.
5) War of 1812 Pension Record 1855 John Pace, Widow-Sarah Pace,
Service--Privet Tenn. Volunteers, Numbers--O W Wid. Reg. Filr 16901
Following are papers in the record
Treasury Dept.
Third Auditors Office
March 14, 1855
Sir:
John Pace died in service on the 9th January 1815. His widow Sarah
received half pay pension under the act of 16 April 1816. at the rate of
$4.00 per month. The papers are on file in the second Auditors office. He
was paid by the paymaster General Date of payment 17 May 1817
State of Tenn.
Rutherford County--On this 25th day of January 1855 Sarah Pace appeared, a
widow of Rutherford County aged 75 years. (To get a pension which was
rejected)
