An Alberta resercher sent me the following today,
maybe someone whould like to tell more of the story.

In the Mar/Apr. issue of Family History by Everton's there is
> a story about the shooting of Bill Pace by his son Will in 1908. The
> story is sketchy but does name his wife Mary, and they had 11 children
> one of which was named Ida. The story does not say where this took
> place only that they had a farm of 36 acres and that Will shoot his
> father in self-defence. It stated that Mary lived 34 years after her
> husband, but did not remarry. Mary lost her son Ray and daughter Ida
> within 6 weeks of each other. Ray was thrown from a horse and hit his
> head and Ida had pneumonia. Both were less than 30 years old but left
> 7 small children between them. Ida was my great grandmother.
>
> This is about all there is in the story.
