Hello everyone from the Pace board.

I was born and bred in Birmingham, UK and I am a descendant of Gordon Pace,
Canada off the boards in a very long winded way. We believe I am a
descendant of the infamous Joseph Arch.

Unfortunately my family tree information was wiped when my computer
contracted a virus and one thing led to another and I had to re-format my
computer and couldn't save the information.

However I can give you a short synopsis from my memory (excuse me if it is
not in the correct format).

Me - Jacqueline Margaret Cook nee Pace b. 4.12.70 Marr. Stephen Paul Cook
b. 22.08.1959 with 2 children

Father & Mother - Charles Henry Pace b. 16.11.1940 Marr. Margaret Evelyn
Hassall b. 5.2.1943 (both living)

Grandfather and Grandmother - Charles Henry Pace b. 6.6.1905 d. 24.1.1981
Marr. Edith Taylor b. 31.3.1906 d. 19.11.2003

I can go back alot further but this story stops here for a moment.

My grandfather's sister was Bessie McCulloch who died earlier this year.
Her adopted son John McCulloch has just telephoned me to say he has found
the Pace Family Bible amongst his mothers belongings with names and dates
of births and deaths. However he is just off to the airport for 2 weeks on
holiday in Egypt but promises to call me on his return with the
information.

This may be the break through I am looking for as I have only got so far.

Gr. Grandfather and Gr. Grandmother - Charles Henry Pace b. abt 1871 Marr.
Bessy Bould b. 21.7.1877.

Gr. Gr. Grandfather and Gr. Gr. Grandmother - Emanual (Manny) Pace b. abt
1838 Marr. Jane Joiner b. abt. 1838.

This is as far as I have got confirmed with certificates of birth, death
and marriage. These bible entries might open up a new line or just confirm
my and Gordon's thoughts of the Joseph Arch connection.
