Subject: No Jesse Pace .. New line.... Mary or Polly Pace I think abt 1776
Date: Sun, 26 Sep 2004 09:40:27 -0700
So I have a new line Does anyone in their records have a Widow named Mary or Polly Pace who disappears in 1820 appears in Harlan Co Ky 1820 Census, we know somehow she is tied into John Pace b-1725-1732 & Sarah Burge DNA Wise as we have two DNA one from Simeon Pace and one from Richmond Pace my # 13827 and 7791from Simeon is my Cousin who matches exactly with 10683 so maybe she is somehow from his line in TN, Who ever her Husband was he must have died before 1820
I am wearing egg on my face, but I am a good sport, and sure many will enjoy seeing this egg on my Face.. as I preach all the time get your own documentation.... (((Grin))) I thought I had it... not so, for well over 6 to 8 years I thought Richmond, John & Simeon Pace were all sons of Jesse Pace of Knox Co KY per Family Bible . I finally found Person who gave me info and she said, (Just the other day) Her Family info only goes back to Richmond Pace Per Family ...and she does not believe Jesse Pace of Knox Co Ky was ours. and after getting the Land Certificate this Jesse Pace was from VA & in the Military so he had to be older Jesse Pace.. He applied for Cert of land and lived on it two years and disappears .. another Jesse Pace appears there in knox Co 1808 paying tax's and appears on the 1810 Census I felt all these years was same Jesse Pace but now I do not think so altho I would swear she is one who told me Richmond Pace s/o Jesse was from Family Bible ... but sh!
e says not so..
When Harlan Co KYCarved from Knox Co KY in 1819 a list was made up of the families transferred to Harlan Co Ky, Jesse Pace name was not on it but reason I thought was this Jesse Pace was in Madison Co KY on 1820 Census and his wife Mary or Polly being female was not listed so see how I made it fit..
The Info Bruce Howard put in his Book was from me as I was so postive That info I had was from a Family Bible which I never got a copy of. I even convinced Gordon see below , and sure on this list many think same thing, which are from these three Lines Richmond Pace & John Pace I have proof these two were for Certain Children of Mary or Polly Pace of Harlan Co KY and Feel postive the Simeon Pace is the last son appearing on the 1820 Census Harlan Co KY..
1820 Harlan Co Ky list Polly Pace
247 PACE POLLY 1 2 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 0 0
List one male under 10 yrs would be Simeon but no proof
2males 10-15 yrs would be Richmond & John Noted in Court Record which I have giving care of Polly to them.
1female under 10 years Have never found who this was.
1 female 25 to 44 yr Mary Polly Judge of Court Records listed her age as 1765-1776 she was a pauper
So I have a new line Does anyone in their records have a Widow named Mary or Polly Pace who disappears we know somehow she is tied into John Pace b-1725-1732 & Sarah Burge DNA Wise
So my line Reads and know its documented

The Jesse Pace, who, I am confident of, is the one who went to Harlan Co, KY
was living next to Edmund Marion Pace in Surry Co, NC in 1795. Edmund was a
brother of the Thomas Pace who m. Keziah Howell, and this Thomas Pace,
according to Bruce Howard's argument, was the father of this Jesse Pace.
This Jesse was in Harlan Co, KY at least from 1802 to 1813 when his three
sons were born,Gordon W. Pace
