Roy I have been trying to get him back farther than John Henry Pace I
hope I have right family
John Henry Pace Father name is hard to make out on 1880 Cen but
1870 Cen lists Dred Pace but he was married to a Rhoda here
1880 Cen Sumter Co Ga

John H Pace 6 I believe this is your John Henry Pace but you need to get
that Death Cert in Macon Co Ala to prove it up

marriage were married 13 yrs so would be abt 1897
Martha J Pace 40 Al Md 2 times she had 9 Children only three Living She is
noted on 1900 Cen as Jennie so would say Martha Jennie
Grover C Pace 14 Martha 'sChild Al
Annie L Pace 11 Martha's child Al
Berry L Pace 9 Martha's Child Al b-Aug 21 1900 per Draft he was short &
Stout Brn eyes Blk hair Jimmie Living in Covington Co Al So
James E Pace 15 would say he had another Mother some report his mother was
Lula Williams
his Draft Card shows He was Tall Med Bld Black eyes and Dark Hair He had a
wife and one Child in WW1Card 1917-1918 He was living in Covington Co Ala
would say they were still in Covington Al in 1917-1918 before heading to
Santa Rosa Florida there in 1920

There is a John H Pace b- 1874 Sumter Co Ga to a Dred Pace b-1851Ga & Lou
.... The Dred make me think he may somehow descend from Dredzill Pace .. I
may not be spelling the name right but it something like Dreadzill
I have followed his name back to 1860 Cen Sumter Co Ga and its listed W D
Pace b- 1849 his Mother was Ursa she had remarried a A F Dorman AF
Dorman Son Alfred Dorman is living next door to Dred Pace in the 1870 Cen
Sumter Co Ga so sure his name is W. Dred Pace b-1849-1851 oh boy found one
person saying William Dreadzill Pace b-11 Nov 1846 Sumter Co Ga d-17 April
1934 Colquitt Co Ga born to Urssa Susan Giles & Richard E. Paris Pace b-
Columbia Co Ga d- 29 March 1852 Sumter Co Ga one person reports Buried in
Old Rock Mountain Cem., Sumter Co., Ga

I think I may have found John Henry Pace death in 1923 Macon Co Ala but need
more proof ........ one person reports John H Pace in 1923 Macon shot by son
in law Batson
They need to write to Historical Society in Alabama to see if they have
Death on John Henry Pace Nov 1923and with luck should have his Parents name
on it

I also found on Pace Genforum Anna L was married to a Batson someone Looking

I found John H Pace & Edgar J Pace on 1920 Cen Santa Rosa Florida working
for a Saw Mill 1930 Cen Santa Rosa still shows James Edgar there
One person on Ancestry.com family Tree has a picture of James E Pace & Wife
