One year difference does not matter that much if info was taken from family
records; John 1805-1894 and John William "Captain" 1805-1894 are obviously
the same person. It would be interesting to know the source of the middle
name and the "Captain" designation. Maybe the date was just off by a year.
If the month of birth is available for William and John, it would give clues
as to whether John could have been born that soon after William.

I guess it might be unusual to give John the same middle name as his older
brother's first name, but not unheard of.

The Dempsey Pace Bible shows a William Pace (1804-1834) and a John
Pace(1806-1894). But, no John William born 1805.

Would the Pace who submitted the DNA sample for kit # 126591 please re-check

his information and confirm that Dempsey had a son, John William, born 1805?
