The Dempsey Pace bible has this:

William Pace, Son of Dempsey Pace and his wife, Elisabeth was borned August 15th, 1804.
John Pace, son of Dempsey Pace and his wife Elisabeth was borned March 1st 1806.

Following Roy's suggestion, it looks like 1806 is the correct birth year.

Clarke Co records show John Pace marrying Martha Bell on 6 Dec 1836, after the death of his brother William, so I'm betting that the submitted information is correction, other than the question on the birth year.
