Hi, We have a copy of the reprinted 1874 Atlas which we purchased a number
of years ago from the Centre County Historical Society. However, there is
also an 1861 map with some different property owner's names on it (a copy is
available for reference in the Pennsylvania Room at the Centre County
Historical Library in Bellefonte). Does anyone know if the 1861 map has been
reprinted? All I have is a portion of the map around Spring Mills which I
Xeroxed at the Library. It would be very useful to have a reprinted 1861 Map
of the county. A number of properties changed hands between 1861 and 1874.

As an example, my ancestor, Philip Leitzell appears on the 1861 Map but is
gone by 1874 (deceased). The same could be true of your ancestors.
