From Mary Pugh Schiffiler
Hi, Mary,
Thanks for a jewel of a page. Sure saves a lot of unnecessary "rooting"
around.
My earliest ancestors, on my Dad's side, were from Chester Co., Pa. I
have been doing research for about 9 years, and now am pleased to have
my daughter interested, too. It's great to have help, 'cause you all
know how much work is involved.
While I have a lot of information, I am still trying to document a lot
of material....will I ever?
My earliest arrivals to Pa., that I can determine, were the years
1682-92. They settled in what was then known as the "Welsh Tract".
Names I am researching are: James PUGH; David PRICE (RHYS, REES);
AWBREY. The name BEVAN is related, but how? Would like to know the
ship James arrived on, and from whence?
Good researching to all!
Mary
