In looking for information on John Temple of Sadsbury who married Hannah
Hollis, I was sent a deed to the land that he owned. The land was in
the village of Midway in Sadsbury and was bounded by land owned by the
members of the Methodist Episcopal church and the Philadelphia and
Lancaster Turnpike roads.
I have two questions;
Where was Midway and how would I find the records of that Methodist
Episcopal church? Hannah was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church
after she moved to Union Co., Ohio and I suspect that she may have been
a member of this church.
I would also appreciate any information on John Temple's parents. I
have much on Hannah, but I cannot sort out all the Temples who were in
Chester Co. at that time. I know that John had a brother Thomas, and
possibly brothers, Joseph and Richard.
I appreciate any help anyone can give me.
