Subject: Which Isaac Miller?

Thanks to all you provided information or made suggestions following my
query as to the family of Isaac Miller who married Hannah Temple in
1750.

The mystery continues, but perhaps a summary to all may lead to
additional information.

Hannah TEMPLE, d/o William and Hannah (Taylor) Temple m. Isaac MILLER in
1750 per Kennett Mtg records. William Temple's will notes his daughter
Hannah, "wife of Isaac Miller". Several possiblilities have been
mentioned in messages received.

Isaac Miller, son of Robert and Ruth (Haines) Miller, would appear to
disqualify if published data is correct. Humphrey's _Chester County
Births_ says he was born in 1737/8 - too young for a 1750 marriage.
Myers' _Immigration of Irish Quakers_ says he was born in 1737 and died
in 1752, too soon a death for one who was received at Kennett Mtg in
1773 with wife and children.

That leaves two other possiblities.

#1 - John and Mary (Ignew) Miller had a son Joseph who married Ann
Hadley. They had a son named Isaac, who reportedly was born in 1727 -
appropriate date for a 1750 marriage.

#2 - An Isaac Miller rec'd cert from Flushing, NY Mtg to Concord or
Gorsham [probably Goshen] in 1746. A check of Hinshaw's _Encyclopedia of
Quaker History_ provided no further information about this Isaac Miller.

Any suggestions/information appreciated.
