Dear Chester County researchers:

Barry Levy, in _Quakers and the American family, British settlement in
the Deleware Valley_, Oxford, Oxford Univ Press, 1988 mentions "the
Pratt house" while discussing room size and comfort of surviving Quaker
houses of the 17th and early 18th centuries. Presumably this would have
been the house built by Jospeh Pratt ca 1717 (or just possibly
Springton, built by David Pratt in the middle 1700s). Does anyone know
where this house is located? It would be in modern Deleware County, I
suspect.

Thanks,

Will Pratt
