Hi Erin-

I beleive there is some confusion here.

One or more meetings for worship constitute a Preparative meeting.
One or more Preparative meetings constitute a Monthly Meeting.
The Monthly meeting are the principle executive branch of the Society of
Friends, which keep the records- and this is where we get all our info. But
the records do not say what Meeting house the wedding or whatever took
place.
One or more Monthly Meetings constitute a Quartely Meeting.
One or more Quarterly Meetings constitute a Yearly Meeting.

Chichester 1683, is a preparative meeting, part of Concord MM 1684,
Chester (now Concord) Quarterly Meeting 1683, Philadelphia Yearly Meeting
1682. There is no Chichester Monthly Meeting.

Kennett (formerly Newark) MM 1680 consists of:
New Castle 1684
Newark 1686
Kennet 1707
Wilmington 1737
Marlborough 1801
Kennett Square 1812
Unionville 1845 (Hicksite)

So you see that Kennett MM consists of PM's in both PA and DE. Kennett MM
is part of Western Quarterly Meeting 1758, Philadelphia Yearly Meeting.

For a complete list, see Futhey & Cope "History of Chester Co" p259 &
following. Also see the Religious Society of Friends Website
<www.quaker.org>.

Hope this clears up the confusion.
