Hi Kay-
A Brower family has lived in North Coventry Township for a long time.

Futhy & Cope History of Chester Co p 172 lists among the 1753 taxables
Christian Browers, Henry Brower, John Brower, and among freemen, Stephen
Bower.

Among 1774 landowners are Abraham Brower, Jacob Brower, Henry Brower, Henry
Brower Jr. & Daniel Brower.

There was an old farmer living near me named Richard Brower who just sold
his farm last year. He lived in Union Twp, Berks Co, just over the Co line
from North Coventry, and I'll bet he was from the same family.

Why don't you try checking the PA census index for 1870 & 1880?
