I hope you don't mind that I am sending this to the list..

The below address is where you can learn about the GenWeb Tombstone
project. This past summer we went to our local cemetery and recorded all
of the names..climbed hills, went out on the local rivers for the known
isolated grave sites. I then sent them to the GenWeb Tombstone Project;
and now they are recorded for all to see..I think this is such a
wonderful project..not only do we preserve the names, but we can help
families find their loved ones, when they can't go to the cemetery it's
self. Maybe some of you may want to do this for the cemeteries in
Chester county.

Check out Curry county in Oregon and see how we did it..it isn't hard
and it gives you a feeling of accomplishment. I got together our people
from our local FHC..It took us a week to get it all done..we had a good
time and did a good service..which left all of us with a feeling of
accomplishment.

I have had several notes from people thanking me for taking the time to
record the names..when you go into the site you will see how that works.
We are going to do more in our near-by towns next summer when it stops
raining!!

Thanks a lot, and Happy Holidays to all of you
