There ARE no undesireable discoveries in genealogy. Except the one in which
we find that our ancestor is not in the source that was our last hope. The
finding that our 4ggf was a 24 ct gold-plated *@#$%*! is just a bit of spice
for our Register report. Living hell for our other contemporary ancestors,
perhaps, but an interesting tidbit for us.
