Thank you for your response. Was your John Ap Cadwalader the one with s/Dr.
Cadwalader and gs/John Dickinson? If so, his parents are supposedly
Cadwalader Thomas who married Ellin Evans (of the Evan Robert Lewis
genealogy.) Ellin Evans is listed as the d/o Owen ap Evan-- which makes her
a candidate for the name Ellin Owen. She has vague dates: born c1660, died
prior to 1697. Does this fit with anything you have?

If this is accurate, it makes an EVANS, JOHN/JONES, THOMAS connection--which
may help me. Since many of the published genealogies are not accurate, I
can't count on this. I have THOMASes connected to EVANses (with some
PHILLIPs thrown in.) There appears to be a connection with LEWIS, and JONES.

Aren't the Welsh fun?
