I have some theories for you, but other than driving out there and looking
(which I might have a chance to do by the weekend) I can't be sure. Bear
with me here - see if this makes sense:
East Coventry is more Mennonite "territory" than Quaker, but it is possible
that there was a Quaker meeting there that is now inactive or merged into
another monthly meeting. There is a Church of the Brethren near the Oak
Grove site, so I assume your Oak Grove was not Brethren. There is also a
Mennonite church fairly nearby, but it could represent a combination of a
couple of Mennonite groups since the building is relatively new.

There is no "Oak Grove" anything listed in the phone book. In my local
atlas, there are two crosses shown next to each other near Parker Ford with
one marked "Oak Grove" and the other marked "Brower". I take this to mean
that there are two cemetaries. There is no little church icon near the
cemetaries. The closest church is labeled as "Parker Ford" and is southeast
of both the churches and of the village of Parker Ford.

The names you mention are quite "English" - not very Mennonite sounding. My
guess (and it is definitely a guess) is that there was a Quaker meeting
there. The "union" might have come into the name after the Hicksite split
was resolved.

I suggest you check with Philadelphia Yearly Meeting and see if there was a
meeting closed. (I think the technical term is "laid down" or something.)

Good luck.

Is the E Coventrty Union Meeting House or something similar on the
property? Would appreciate some background on this cemetery. Thank you
so much.
