Could anyone in Chester County with access please check the County or
City census for me.

I'm looking for Michael RONAN. We suspect that he and his wife Mary
Coughlin came to the US from Ireland around 1847-48, but may have been
sooner. They settled in the West Chester area while he worked for the
railroad. They had a daughter, Mary, born in 1848. And they left 2
children behind in Ireland. The family moved following the railroad
tracks as they progressed into Maryland and they finally settled in
Lancaster County. I'm having real difficulty finding anything on them.
I think they were listed in the 1850 census as ROMAN. I'm really getting
desperate for information. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
