Well, I didn't get the answer yet that I wanted -- but did get lots of
questions about the book "Record of the Courts of Chester Co. Pa 1681-1697"
-- and will try to answer all.

I ordered the book from Higginson Book Co. at $45.00 + pp. It took awhile to
get as they must special print. It is Absolutely Wonderful and a MUST for you
early researchers. It is hard cover, 430 pages. It contains all the court
transcripts including who was on the jury etc etc etc everything. It is
Indexed.

I was asked about the name EYRE -- I counted and there are 65 references to
Robert Eyre. Under the name Smith is: Anne, Benjamin, Clare, Elizabeth,
Francis, John, Margaret, Mary, Robert, Roger, Thomas and William.

I will answer names in the index but must hold off on precise lookups for the
reason that the book is written exactly as the records it was copied from,
and is hard to follow -- you all know how those old records were written, and
hope you understand.

My recommendation is to Buy that Book!!

Carol
