Subject: [PACHESTE] Peter SAVAGE?

Good morning Diana,

While doing research on "The Soldier's Walk" project, (to send
for the gravestone of all the veterans from the Revolutionary War,
Mexican War, War of 1812, Civil War & Spanish American War), I came
across a Peter SEVASE buried at St. Martin's Cemetery in Marcus Hook
from the VA records at the DCCH.

I came to the conclusion that this was a Peter SAVAGE because
of a Will/Admin. filed at the DCCH. I never found the surname SEVASE
or SEAVSE in either Delaware or Chester Co. I think his gravestone was
misread. Please keep in mind that some of the following info maybe
incorrect, also, especially the dates. Here is the info I have from the
VA record:

SEVASE, Peter
Birth 1750
Death 7-5-98
Burial 7-8-98
Cemetery: St. Martin's
Location: Marcus Hook, Dela. Co., PA
Section: 1
Range: North
Lot: Row 3
Grave: 1 E. Path
Condition: Fair
Marker: Rev. War Vet.
Date of inspection: 12-6-34

Happy hunting, Helen (DCGS)

Would there be anything in your index for surnames SAVAGE or MARCH.
Thank you so much.
