Is anyone out there researching Samuel Kennedy and his wife, Margaret Vaughn
Smith who were born and married in Chester County and who later operated the
Black Bear Inn at 5th and Minor between 1804 and 1807. He died in 1807 and
was buried in Second Presbyterian Churchyard.  She continued as an innkeeper
at 18 N 4th until about 1812.  Then she briefly ran a boarding house at 9
Pear.  She died in 1849 and is buried in Monument Cemetery  Their children
were:

William Doak Kennedy who married Anna Maria Sherborne
Robert Smith Kennedy who married Elizabeth Lampert
Joseph Smith Kennedy who married Elizabeth McKnight
Margaret Vaughn Kennedy who married James Coleman
Susan G. Kennedy married John Parker
AND Samuel Kennedy

All the children were born in Chester County between 1791 and 1804.  Any
information appreciated.
