I wish I KNEW!!!
All I know about the John HALL who was md: to Elizabeth PIERCE prior to
1743 is that he was the son-in-law of Henry[1] PIERCE of Concord, Chester
cnty, PA at the time of the writing of Henry's will in 1743. Henry[1]
PIERCE was COE rather than Quaker and was involved in the affairs of St
Johns PE Church in Concord and St Paul's PE Church in Chester.
If it is of any help to you: Elizabeth (nee Pierce) HALL's sisters were:
Joan/Jean/Jane PIERCE who md: Richard HOE 10 Oct 1728 at Old Swedes Holy
Trinity in Wilmington and their dtr Anna was bapt there 05 Jun 1729;
Catherine PIERCE who md: Benjamin CULLIVER, he d: shortly after 17 Jun 1749
in Chester cnty; Sarah PIERCE who md: Richard REYNOLDS and Ann PIERCE who
md: a TYLY (spelling as best determined from Henry's handwitten will).
Don't you just LOVE these darn brick walls??? I had been hoping by tracing
John HALL/Elizabeth PIERCE I might find further information on Henry[1]
PIERCE and his other kids.
Judy
PS: I do know Henry[1] PIERCE's parents, when he arrived in this country,
who his wife was and where he came from in England if it turns out that
there is a relationship and you want that information at any time.
