I am looking for information about Mahlon Heston and his wife. Mahlon was
born in Chester County in 1820. He married Elizabeth Gordon (b. 1826 in
PA) and she has been my brick wall. She appears to have had a brother
Uriah (b. 1810 in PA) who married Levy Ann Bavington (b. 1821 in PA). I
have information that says Uriah was son of Jonathon Gordon and Elizabeth,
dau. of Jacob Hoppel. Jonathon was son of George Gordon and Elizabeth
Bates. I have no idea where this information came from, but am wondering
if these might be Chester County families since I know the Hestons were.

Elizabeth (Gordon) and Mahlon Heston had sons named Franklin, Uriah, and
Albert which seem to be Gordon names although Albert occurs in both
families.
